**** Forever fascinated by the chorus on this song. I can't find any mention anywhere online for what I feel is a deliberate reference to the most famous sample in all of music, the Amen break. Mae Muller goes out of her way to bust the rhyming cadence just to punctuate the second line with those two words. This is a song that previously rhymes on with along and with long so NEIKED do not have high standards for rhyming. I can maybe accept that the line was thrown in there to link it more strongly to Polo G's verse but it's still way too coincidental for me. For the love of all that is good, if NEIKED ever do a Reddit AMA someone please inform me ahead of time so I can ask about this.

Polo G does pop rap pretty well. |
