Dieses Wort kann man dann auch auf die Musik bezogen nutzen!<br>Nichts neues von Ihnen, aber alles andere hätte mich dann auch überrascht! Überraschungen sind selten bei Boybands!<br>LANGWEILIG! <br><br>edit: @southpaw: ich habe wohl einen falschen Song gehört am Anfang. Nun habe ich aber zu 100% das Original gehört...der Rest der Bewertung bleibt! Es ist ein langweiliger normaler Boybandtrack!

Dieser Song ist nicht wirklich schlechter als die vorgängigen Singles dieser Boyband - das Problem ist einfach, dass das wirklich alles immer ziemlich gleich tönt...<br><br>Mal abgesehen davon finde ich ein Ranking von knapp über 2 für diesen Song einfach nicht angemessen - da gibt es wirklich viel schlechtere Songs, die einen solchen Wert "verdient" haben. Deshalb runde ich meine 3.5 diesmal auf eine gnädige 4 auf.

Neue Single von One Direction, und dank Album-Pre-Order schon überall #1 bei iTunes; wenn auch nur für kurze Zeit. Die schlechten Bewertungen hier kann ich nicht verstehen, überrascht mich aber auch nicht wirklich, denn hey, es ist ja One Direction.<br><br>"Steal My Girl" ist typischer Teen-Pop einer Boy-Band. Tut nicht weh wenn's mal im Radio gespielt werden würde, aber da hatten die Jungs auch schon weitaus besseres am Start. 4*<br><br>edit: Mittlerweile erhöhe ich gerne auf 5*. Guter Pop-Song und einer ihrer besten Songs. Bin über die schlechte Bewertungen hier doch überrascht.

Die ersten Takte erinnern gar an einen ABBA-Song, aber dann verliert sich "Steal My Girl" doch wieder in einen typischen Boyband-Song. Ich muss aber doch zugeben, dass das ihr bisher bester Song ist unter jenen (wenigen), die ich von ihnen kenne. Für die Zielgruppe wohl der perfekte Song, für mich sind aber zu viele nervige "Nanana" enthalten. 3+ |

Dat de muziek van 2014 zwaar teleurstelt, is een feit. 'Animals', 'Wake Me Up!', 'Get Lucky', 'Blurred Lines', 'Waves', 'This Is What It Feels Like'... echte klassiekers om naar te luisteren. Dit is echter niet zwaar teleurstellend te noemen, maar echt klassiekerwaardig ook niet. Redelijk nummer die best goed in elkaar zit en ook wel catchiness heeft, maar ik vind deze niet zo goed als 'What Makes You Beautiful', 'Best Song Ever' en al zeker niet 'Story Of My Life'. Of het nou een top 20-hit wordt of totaal flopt, het maakt me niet uit. Ik ga hem waarschijnlijk niet downloaden, maar ik heb er ook totaal niks tegen en ik vind die flauwe reacties ook zeer onterecht. |

Das beste an Boybands ist sie zu beobachten wie sie aufsteigen, riesige Erfolge feiern oder floppen, tief fallen, sich trennen, älter werden, Männer werde und ein Comeback wagen dass dann nur kurz anhält .. ich bin gespannt wann das mit 1D passieren wird, der Überboyband im Moment..<br><br>Solider Song von 1D, jedoch halt wirklich nix neues, nervt aber auch nicht und kann man im Radio auch hören, die Stimmen gewohnt gut und auch die Produktion lässt sich sehen, so muss ich doch tatsächlich 4* vergeben obwohl ich eigentlich nur 3 geben wollte.. |

It's fine, but the least memorable of all of their top 20 hits in Australia. It's catchy but it makes little impact otherwise, can't say I'm sad it has been a relative flop. Also please stop using "na na na" in your songs! I was already tired of hearing it in their songs nearly 2 years ago and certainly want it done away with already. Not their worst or their best.<br><br>Edit: This only got worse for me. Really childish and there's something that sounds really dumb about all 5 of them proclaiming that someone is stealing their girl. I know it's not the first time a boy band has written a love song like that but it's particularly noticeable here. Not only that but it just sounds so annoying. Also worth pointing out is that lyrically it's questionable in another way, the way they assert ownership over their girl is kind of troubling. Like she's an object that they own. The only interesting thing about it is if one takes it as commentary on their (at the time) diminishing popularity while 5 Seconds Of Summer's popularity rose. Of course with extra context this sounds hilarious given their revival in popularity in the last few months. On that note though, when they can still deliver something as good as "Drag Me Down" this song is even more worthless to me. Without a doubt one of their worst singles.

This is like if you heard Homer say to Mel Gibson, "She's MY property, and I own her!", and thought he was really sticking it to him, and that was the joke. I mean I want to believe their slow transition to adult-oriented pop/rock, but it's hard to when the core of the songwriting still sounds as childish as ever.<br><br>But apart from that, I can't get past just how sluggish this track sounds. It could sound uplifting, but as soon as the drums & clapping enter the fray it just clunks up the momentum to make it as tired as a boyband's 4th album would be.<br><br>It does perhaps provide some interesting meta-commentary. Earlier this year, 5 Seconds Of Summer briefly overtook One Direction for weekly listeners on last.fm. That's just one isolated sample, but it does show that for once, their place at the top is being threatened. Not to mention the severely above average promotion that seems to be coming into play to promote this album, and it says a lot with how much this track struggled early on before that kicked in.<br><br>I don't think they're done yet, but it's just another case of diminishing returns, and this time around it's seeped into the music. I can't imagine gaining new fans when there's a fresh new face and you're just the tired & boring ones. Tweens don't get enough credit for how efficiently they make the right names big. 2.4 |
