Ah, think back to Christmas morning two years ago when I finally got to sample the work of that random singer who made Illy's song much better and also had a funny name when this song was on Rage. To which I immediately dismissed her work as being too boring and AC for me, a reason of why I didn't get into a lot of female artists at the time though peculiarly she's not much older than me.<br><br>I eventually did come around on this song and it was long before I started bandwagoning so it certainly wasn't biased on that regard. This is probably because I was able to look past the song's simple facade and really get into the great string movements (which she totally needs more of) in the bridge. Or maybe I'm overthinking it now, after all, 'so damn simple but we complicate it'.<br><br>I'm not sure if it's due to the (slightly) excessive initial exposure, but I find this to be the song of hers that I generally listen to the least. I guess it's fair to say that I shouldn't fully judge an artist based on their first song ;)<br>
