One of the best albums of the noughties, there is not a single bad song on this tracklist. Highlights: 'Misery Business', 'That's What You Get' and 'When It Rains'.
*****
This is a very solid second offering from Paramore, with many of their more well known hits coming from here. I remember when Misery Business came out and how it was thrashed on music TV so I was very surprised that it never charted (NZ had just started counting digital sales in the charts, seeing a string of TV popular but not radio popular chart hits, so that's what's even more surprising). Luckily, Crushcrushcrush and That's What You Get managed to introduce them to the charts almost a year later, thus beginning their time in the chart. The album all up is good. Hayley's vocal hasn't changed much over time but she sounds a bit more refined and mature than on All We Know is Falling. Also, they've lost the screaming, which can only be a good thing. It's an enjoyable listen and still sounds good more than ten years later. 4.6/6.
