Ok song.
****
Decent Aussie dance track.
***
Not the worst beat in the world, but doesn't offer much that's unique.

A great summer vibed song, that is still trotted out each year to tell us it's time for summer. The chorus is very catchy. A worthy Top 20 placement.
****
Solid track.
****
Quite like this song. Seemed to be totally everywhere for ages and then I promptly forgot it existed. Holds up well though as there's quite a bit of power behind the chorus and a pretty tight groove.

Very average.

So perhaps its use in those Austar ads may have been annoying back in the day when Austar was still a thing, but not having heard the song in ages and not being familiar with the artist or title of "that Austar ad song" meant that I had a huge "OMG IT'S THIS <3" moment the other day. Even with the Austar ad saturation during the '00s I also love the chorus and think it's the best thing about the song. I love how massive it sounds in comparison to the quieter verses. The beat is pretty awesome too and I enjoy pretty much everything about it. Love this song so much, just so joyful and also nostalgic too.

Incredible, energy-filled Australian classic. Still sounds fantastic two decades later.

I'm very surprised to see it didn't make the top ten, as this was ever-present at the time. I can see it was a slow-burner though.
