This sounds like a Far East Movement and Justin Timberlake collaboration. 'Blurred Lines' is a bit better.<br><br><br>Why the hell did they add 2 Chainz to this :::::::))))) :P

Tolle Produktion, deutlich elektronischer und tanzbarer als sein Überhit "Blurred Lines", allerdings mit etwas weniger Charme. Dennoch: als Nachfolge-Single eine sehr gute Wahl.<br><br>edit: Runter auf die 4.

Alright, it's okay.<br><br>But what struck me here is that Robin Thicke, Kendrick Lamar, will.i.am and Dr. Luke have all collaborated to make this. What a bizarre combination! |

Wenn man sich die Producer und Songwriter anschaut fällt einem die etwas überraschende Mischung auf. Der Track selbst ist auch überraschend geworden, sticht er mit seiner elektronischer Art doch direkt aus dem Album hervor.<br><br>Den doch etwas 'speziellen' Text mal ausgelassen, ist "Give It 2 U" jedoch relativ gut geraten. Als Single sicher gut geeignet, trotzdem habe ich nach wie vor das Gefühl dass Robin kein grosser Hit mehr landen wird...<br><br>4+* |

It was always going to be hard to follow up a megahit like "Blurred Lines", and unfortunately this comes up a bit short. I don't know it the JT meets Mika approach was the best choice. With that said, it is not a terrible song, but not instantly enjoyable.<br><br>EDIT: Actually, the more I hear it, the more I start to get a Flight of the Conchords vibe. Especially the "angel" part.

It's average, definitely a grower, but compared to "Blurred Lines" it's sort of laughable. I like the retro feel to it and I love the choice he made with this album, but it's going to be difficult to live up to the mammoth success of "Blurred Lines", especially if this is follow up. |

Ik kan Robin Thicke met Daft Punk vergelijken. Blurred Lines & Get Lucky vind ik de beste nummers van 2013, maar de tweede single blijkt vet stom te zijn. Alle nummers van bijde albums zelf, op die twee grote hits na. Gelukstreffer, zoals DeejayDave al zei?? |

Obviously 'Blurred Lines' is still a work of genius, but ultimately it's something we only need one of, and it's dissapointing that this song and video is basically the same things as last time but nowhere near as infectious and hilarious, it does have a good enough synth beat though. |

Also ich finde ja das sich der Part wo er immer singt : "Hey Girl, you know you`re looking so damn fly..." genauso anhört wie "When i think of you" von Janet Jackson, sonst geht der Song eigentlich. Kein Hammer, aber auch nicht wirklich schlecht! Hmm, soll ich jetzt ne 3 oder 4 geben, na ja ok, gerade noch ne 4, aber gerade noch so! Grins! |
