Probably more similar to "Embracing Me" simply because it's not the banger so many of their other tracks are. In the end I think it slightly suffers for this because the melody feels rather restrained, especially in the last chorus. As usual though the vocals and the production are both solid. 3.5

Average.

They have certainly had better, but this is still serviceable enough.

It's kind of intriguing that this would become SAFIA's biggest hit. It's a song about automation through conforming, a kind of dystopic vision of a mechanical future. I guess you could say that it lacks the distinguishing features/personality of some of their past singles, which adds up to me as immensely curious. The parts are all there for a functional if not quite thrilling ride.
**
Easily forgettable, even now.
