As a lead single from Taylor Swift I’m actually quite surprised it’s so generic and lacks any real wow factor. It’s very cookie-cutter, production is typical and there’s really nothing here that is gonna stand out in her catalogue. The addition of PATD singer brings it down too.
*****
I honestly don't hate it as much as the other Taylor Swift stans I've heard from. It's refreshing to see her return to a more lighter era than continue with a possibly mediocre version of reputation. In the day and age where artists are making questionable collaborations (looking at you Marshmello and Lil Dicky), I do like the friendly cheesiness of it all.
******
Very fresh and uplifting pop song which i usually love, and both singers harmonize perfectly. Taylor is really a force on pop music and i'm looking forward to this new era of hers. 6*

Me no like it

This songwriting approach has worked many times before for Taylor so why change a working formula? Given the collaboration I had some cause for concern. The delivery is a bit much at times but otherwise it's not too bad.
***
Lame Duet song. I don't hate it too.

I don't mind this song but geez that third verse is just dire. Brings down the song as a whole.

Glad she's back on form after the disappointing "Reputation"
***
I don't like the third verse at all. "HEY KIDS! SPELLING IS FUN" or even "And you can't spell awesome without me". What kinda lines are both Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie are on about???? Dont get my four star review wrong but I like Tay-Tay in pop but if she is bringing back the fun bubbly pop or that American fizz than what she made predominately success on 1989, I will love to hear. Plus I dont know if she is bringing her Reputation back as well. This could be her last year that alot of kiwi listeners will start getting bored of her. I can see this might flop in the New Zealand charts.

GOOD: Very catchy
BAD: The third verse is weird and stupid

3 stars - Got sick of it now 😔

Sehr gutes, süßes, poppiges Duett.
This song is terrible, it's so overbearing with cuteness which makes it very obnoxious. I really hated it those 2-3 weeks when it was played on the radio. That said I did find it funny that it's a duet between her and Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco, they should have added "the guy who had a hit not long ago, remember?" just to make things completely clear. 1.3
****
As a longtime fan of both Taylor Swift and Panic At The Disco, I would never have expected a collaboration between these two artists, even with the directional shifts their music has taken in more recent times. So I was very surprised when this was released and intrigued to hear it. I was pretty quickly engaged by how joyful it sounds and found it impossible to resisting enjoying. More than anything, the production of this track reminds me of a musical, and since I generally like those, that was another thing about this I couldn't help liking. This is especially evident during the chorus, which would have otherwise fallen a bit flat. Taylor and Brendon are both strong vocalists and deliver here, particularly during the second verse with their back and forth singing. The melody is very engaging and catchy and I can't help but have fun listening to this. It's not the direction I'd choose for either of them to continue with, but as an experimental move, I'm very glad this delight exists.
****
One of the weirdest collaborations on paper, but it surprisingly works! The problem is the third verse makes me CRINGE.

If it wasn't for that damn third verse I would be able to get more into it as Panic! just had one of their biggest chart successes and Taylor was (and still is) at the top of her game. The film clip is a visual masterpiece and a major redeeming factor for me. FUN, POPPY but ultimately tacky!
