On the surface it was nothing special but quite fun, however the replay value is immense and the more you listen the better it gets. Production-wise it is faultless, the film clip is a beauty, and London's flow is perfectly timed. One of the tracks in 2014 where I'll now say damn I wish I had it higher in my EOY. 5.5<br><br>Anecdote from my last edit which is a little bit obsolete since I love this song even more now:<br>Up until last week, I was really really happy with my reading light. It sits next to my computer, clamped to the edge of the desk. It's really quite awesome. Well, was quite awesome, because last week it stopped working properly :( Now it flickers really annoyingly in a way that makes it obviously useless, and probably the one amusing side-effect is that when I turn off all the lights in the room and leave it flickering, it turns my room into something I can't describe even though it's basically just the light flickering in and out of the darkness. Nevertheless, very few songs in my recollection can accompany this amusing effect as well as 'Tribe', which is why I find it so unique. Not directly in the way that it makes me want to turn all the lights off and leave this dodgy light on, but at the very least it gives that spooky yet exciting atmosphere. Rather immense experience in a very brief two and a half minutes. |
