Based on the video, it would appear that Tyler Joseph likes to ride his trike with his handlebars.

There's something off about Twenty One Pilots I can't quite place that stops me from particularly liking them, but this song has a really good melody (that chorus will get stuck in your head) paired off with sweet nostalgic vibe which doesn't sound particularly bitter about it. If given a push I could see this being a pop hit. 3.8

Ok

I never realised until now, but this is doing quite well in the US. Top 5 on iTunes, how about that?

I do like this. Quite catchy, and I just like the mood of it all.

I'm not sure if anyone else hears this, but does anybody else think this sounds musically like, particularly the intro, Guy Sebastian's "Linger", or is that just me?
***
Refrain mag ich, den Rest könnt ihr für euch behalten!!
3*-

I do see a bit of Linger in this.
I find some bits in this a bit annoying but not too bad really.
EDIT: I like it now, wasn't expecting that.

Actually this is thoroughly enjoyable. Spooky vibes make it sound like an Alt-J song. 4.5

This is fine enough, but of all the random things to get huge. I dunno. I liked Tear In My Heart better. The chorus here is the highlight, but even that doesn't do enough, and the verses are perhaps slightly above average. I like it okay enough, I just wish I liked it more.
**
Not bad, but lacks the highlight.
---
Anything can be a hit nowadays, this is so overplayed. 3 >>>>> 2*

The chorus does indeed get stuck in your head. It's not the type of song that I would expect to become big but I'm glad it managed to do so.
****
Very similar style to Fun. here. A refreshingly different pop track from 21P which has boosted their career. Will be interesting to see them fit in during GTM later in the year.

I can see why the kids enjoy this. I seem to have a love hate relationship with this, it is aimed towards people younger than me and that unhinges me a little bit, particularly in regard to the fear of adulthood it seems to be exploring (without having a real solution). In fact it seems all over the place to me.

Also that bit toward the end with the robot voice is just ugly.
***
This is really annoying.

Cool. Nice to hear a good hit song.
****
Fine

What even is this. Massive pile of nothing. This doesn't interest me in any way.
*****
Unexpected hit. I've been enjoying this when it wasn't impacting the charts yet, really good song.
*****
Such a great song. It's so unusual sounding at first. A mix of genres. But I love it. One of the best musical surprises to come out of 2016.
*****
I'm not really into some of todays rap music, but I like this one. The lyrics are pretty interesting but the beats sounds almost like hip hop. And is also memorable
******
I can really identify with the lyrics of the song. I think one of the reasons why this was a hit is because everyone, no matter what kind of life they have, would like to be as carefree and innocent as they were as kids.
Apart from that he really exposes his insecurities in the first rap part, with intentional contradiction (,,I wish I didn't have to rhyme every time I sang'' but he rhymes in the next verses). It also contains a bit of social criticism, it's honest.
The sound is easy going with a spooky vibe, really like that too.
***
This one I never really warmed to until after 'Heathens' which it still doesn't come close too.

P=77
